APC Valuation Training Modules

Three APC Valuation Training Modules delivered online with ongoing interaction. Also available anytime by pre-recorded video streaming plus support:

Module 1 - Mandatory requirements and guidance for valuations  22nd June 2021

Module 2 - Conventional valuation methods and their application  23rd June 2021

Module 3 - Investment valuation techniques: growth implicit and explicit  24th June 2021

Cost

The Fee for each module is £125.00 plus VAT @ 20% (£25.00)

Attend all three modules for £325.00 plus VAT @ 20% (£65.00)

Aims and Outcomes

These three APC Valuation Training Modules aim to provide APC Candidates with the knowledge and understanding necessary to achieve Level 1 of the APC Valuation Competency which states:

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the purposes for which valuations are undertaken; the relevant valuation methods and techniques; the appropriate standards and guidance; and any relevant statutory or mandatory requirements for valuation work in your area of practice.

These modules will make a significant contribution towards the achievement of Levels 2 and 3.

The knowledge element is provided by detailed notes and live interactive voice-over PowerPoint presentations. Understanding will be achieved through problem-based learning and examining typical APC Final Assessment questions.

The Presenter

The Pre-Recorded Videos and Support

Each Module is recorded in up to 10 parts to accommodate short learning periods and every participant will:

  1. be provided with a PDF of the notes for each Module.
  2. have access to the videos for 40 days (Option A: from 25th June. Option B: from receipt of payment).

Delivery Option A: Live Online

Limited to 24 places to ensure that individual training needs can be addressed.

10.30: Interactive voice-over PowerPoint presentation (1) explaining and expanding the notes.
12.00: Open forum Question and Answer (1)
12.30: Lunch Break
13.30: Interactive voice-over PowerPoint presentation (2) explaining and expanding the notes.
15.00: Open forum Question and Answer (2)
16.00: Break-out rooms each with 3 or 4 participants to discuss the Group Problems.
17.00: Close

Post Live Online: view pre-recording of 30+ typical APC questions and answers for each Module.


Delivery Option B: Pre-recordings plus Support

Available anytime. In addition to a PDF of the notes for each module and access to the pre-recordings from the date of receipt of payment, every participant will have up to 60-minutes per module of one-to-one support with the presenter to be taken in as many bits as desired.

CPD

Each module provides a minimum 6 hours of formal CPD.

Terms and Conditions - Please read carefully before booking

  1. By completing the booking form, you are entering into a binding contract to pay for the training modules, subject to the cancellation conditions in (2), (3), (4) and (5) below.
  2. If the invoice has not been paid and a cancellation is made within 14 days of the date the first module is presented or, attendance is not made, you will be liable for full payment.
  3. If the invoice has not been paid and a cancellation is received at least 14 days before the date the first module is presented an administration charge of £30.00 plus VAT will be made.
  4. A refund will only be made if a cancellation is received at least 14 days before the date the module is presented, and this will be subject to an administration charge of £30.00 plus VAT.
  5. JFPC Valuation School reserve the right to cancel the presentation of this module and in this case a full refund will be made.
  6. These training modules do not represent any official view of the RICS and cannot offer any guarantee that its completion will result in success at APC final assessment.
  7. Booking confirmation, VAT receipt and directions to venue will be sent at least 48 hours before the date the module is presented.
